Elders and Deacons
Who is an Elder - They are chosen by the people (church members) to exercise leadership, government and discipline. They serve for three years including as a member of the Executive Board (session) and are assigned to a Purpose Team and/or Operations.
Gifts and Requirements - Elders should be persons of faith, dedication and good judgement. Their manner of life should be a demonstration of the Christian gospel, both within the church and in the world (work).
The following are our current Elders:

Who is a Deacon - They are chosen by the people (church members) because of their compassion, witness and service after the example of Jesus Christ. They serve for three years at Faith Church and are organized as a board with a deacon elected moderator and a pastor as an advisory member. In addition, they are assigned to a Purpose Team and/or Operations.
Gifts - The list of qualities/gifts we seek in a deacon are spiritual character, honest reputation, exemplary lives, brotherly and sisterly love, sincere compassion, and sound judgement. Tough requirements but they are just good people who enjoy service to those in need.
