 Educational and Growth Opportunities
Nursery (Ages 0-3): During the Education Hour babies and toddlers have faith-forming experiences and activities.
  • Children will experience Jesus' love in a safe atmosphere of love and care.
  • Children's physical needs will be cared for in a loving manner.
  • Children will hear words of affirmation.
  • Children will hear simple prayers, such as "Thank You, God, for the food".
  • Parents of children will be included in the atmosphere of love and care.

A special curriculum for children under age 2 is used during the Sunday Education Hour.  Our nursery staff is certified by the Red Cross in First Aid and CPR and have received training in Faith Church's "Child and Youth Protection Policy".  For more information

See our Expectations for Learning

All our teachers have trained in child protection and teaching.  See our policy.

Youth: Sunday Educational Opportunities 9:45-10:45 am

  • Grades 7 & 8 meet with our leaders to grapple with everyday situations.
  • Grades 9-12 meet with our leaders to worship, share, digest and serve.  Acting out your faith where you live, work and go to school is easier when you have others to talk about it.

Faithful to God

An adult inductive Bible study on 1 & 2 Peter, 1, 2 & 3 John and Jude
Crushed, overwhelmed and devastated - these are common feelings of those who suffer. Many first century Christians were suffering, being abused and persecuted because of their Christian faith. The writers of these smaller New Testament Epistles knew Christ, yet even in times of difficulty nothing could shake their confidence in Jesus. Following Christ is a costly commitment. Trials will come. When they do, we are to remain faithful to God.
This Bible study will be led by Pastor Mark Miller in the Fellowship Hall. A study guide will also be available for each participant

Exploring our Roots
From January 1 through February 19 we will check into Genesis and Exodus, the first two books of the Bible, exploring some of the major themes in each book.
Join Janine Yates in room 6

God's Freedom
We explore our liberty in Christ using The Five Laws of Liberty: Defending a Biblical View of Freedom by Scott Hyland. Adherencer to the Bible is maintained. Other pertinent materials will be included in our discussion as they become relevant.
    Leader: Anita Howell, Room 8

Talk Back Fellowship

We meet every week in the downstairs fellowship hall to talk about events happening around us in the community and in the world. What is our Christian response?

Biblical Models of Discipleship

What does it mean to be a disciple? Can the New Testament teach us to be better disciples?

Throughout this study, we will investigate key texts of the New Testament

We will discover many methods by which disciples functioned as followers or learners

How applicable are these methods for thoughtful Christians of our day?
